Drawn from a scan of a very small and old photograph.
The chap was a Captain in the Royal Corps of Signals, this is a present for his son, his wife commissioned me to draw it for him.
As the ref pic was so tiny I had to use alternative references for the lapel badges and his captain pips on the epaulettes, unfortunately I couldn't find a ref for the buttons on his epaulettes as they are regiment specific, so I've had to leave them fuzzy, but hopefully it doesn't detract too much.
You never cease to amaze me with your talent. This has the feel of the time the photo was taken... an aged quality. I am not technical enough to tell I see this or that but what I do see is that you have given the drawing personality...that is something your client will treasure.
