Well I've finished it. despite a couple of nut-balls urging me to leave her headless (you know who you are) !!
I'm not so sure about the skin tones, but I spent ages trying to make it work...and it's not awful, so it'll do. If anyone has got some good tips on skin, esp using the same type of pencils, I'd be most appreciative
I've used 's beautiful stock photo of her lovely little girl, Chloe [link]
I've re-worked the balloon a bit, hopefully it looks more like a balloon and less like a bowling ball, Shiv.
Time taken approx 6 hours
A4 grey card and Caran d'Ache supracolor soft pencils.
Hey, havent seen anything from you in a while...slacker...*cough* lol
Nice work, i dont know how you do it, but you make it look like a photograph and a drawing at the same time! Amazing!!
Wonderful! I love the tones. What did you do this with? I can't remember if you mentioned it on your WIP. I think you managed the skin tones really nicely actually, it looks nice. I love the ribbon in her hair too. It's all just very good, well done! Keep it up!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
